Cut the pieces

  • Background (blue): Cut 1 - 7 1/4” x 7 1/4”; cut in half diagonally twice to make 4 triangles.
  • Background (blue): Cut 2 - 3 7/8” x 3 7/8"; cut in half diagonally to make 4 triangles.
  • Background (blue): Cut 1 - 3” x 3"; cut in half diagonally to make 2 triangles.
  • Dark Green: Cut 2 - 3 7/8” x 3 7/8"; cut in half diagonally to make 4 triangles.
  • Dark Green: Cut 1 - 3” x 3"; cut in half diagonally to make 2 triangles.
  • Medium Green: Cut 2 - 3 7/8” x 3 7/8"; cut in half diagonally to make 4 triangles.
  • Medium Green: Cut 1 - 3” x 3"; cut in half diagonally to make 2 triangles.
  • Light Rose: Cut 6 - 2 3/8” x 2 3/8”; cut in half diagonally to make 12 triangles.
  • Medium Rose: Cut 4 - 3” x 3"; cut in half diagonally to make 8 triangles.
  • Medium Rose: Cut 1 - 2 5/8” x 2 5/8”.
  • Dark Rose: Cut 2 - 2 5/8” x 2 5/8”.

Piecing directions

Top left and bottom right units
1. Stitch a large Dark green and a large Medium green triangle to a large Blue triangle.

2. Stitch a large Dark green to a large Medium green triangle.

3. Stitch units from Steps 1 and 2 together.

4. Stitch a large size Blue triangle and a medium Blue triangle to each of the units from Step 3.

Middle unit
1. Stitch a Light rose triangle to two opposite sides of each Medium rose and Dark rose square. Press triangles out and stitch Light rose triangles to remaining two opposite sides.

2. Stitch either two Medium rose or a small Dark green and Medium green triangle to two opposites sides of the units from Step 1. Repeat with the remaining small triangles as illustrated. Stitch the three completed squares together.

3. Stitch the two remaining medium size Blue triangles to each end of the units from Step 2.

Finishing
Stitch all three completed units together.
